Useful VG Tweaks

Set game to High (not Highest) Performance. Turn environment detail/atmospheric distortion/volumetric clouds off. Keep clip plane at about 200,000 -- still nice detail.If you use first person, turn first person rendering off (you won't see your weapons as you fight but you'll gain a few fps).* *In the ini do the following edits:UseSound = False (which sucks because it has good music/sound but thats 5-10 fps right there).Useprechaching = True (+5 fps for NVIDIA cards)* *Turn off pagefile (if its on)Defrag your hardrivesCreate a 3GB static pagefile (another +5 fps or so).You'll have crap fps in cities but should get low 20ish in the country even with a 6600, amonst the bumblebees and flowers. I recommend the Kojan Half-elf/Human starting area despite the fact that Tanvu rains all the time (-5fps).
